Yes, I am closing the shop after 22 years at 84 High Road, Bushey Heath!
But keep calm, don't panic - I'm carrying on...
 
After over 50 years in the jewellery business, it was my plan to semi-retire and take things a little easier. However it's going to take a little longer to slow down than imagined due to an overwhelming demand.
 
Therefore I will be opening an office workshop so I am able to continue providing my same trusted services, whilst honouring my original plan to slow down by closing the retail side of the business. 
 
So welcome to a new era of "Trevor's Jewellery Workshop".

Will my items be safe at your new office workshop?

Accepted Answer

I have extended the insurance facility from the shop at 84 High Road to fully cover me whilst looking after your items.
 
Everything will be kept in a safe in secure premises at all times - your items are just as precious to me.

Can I park at your new office workshop?

Yes.
 
There is easy access by road and plenty of free parking on site.

What if I don't live in Bushey?

Accepted Answer

For those customers further afield - for example Mill Hill, St Johns Wood or the West End - I am happy to collect from you as these locations are enroute to my workshop in Hatton Garden.
 
I can also meet you at my new office workshop in Bushey (by appointment only) to discuss any work - including making, remodelling and your design ideas.

Question 9

Will you offer Insurance and Probate valuations?

Accepted Answer

I will be continuing to offer Insurance and Probate valuations by appointment either at my new office workshop in Bushey or in the comfort of your own home if you may prefer.
 
Cost:
My valuation prices have remained the same for over 10 years and are the most competitive rates around.
 
Items over £5,000 - £30 per item
Items under £5,000 - £20 per item
 
N.B. Most valuers charge a flat rate of 1% which works out to be more expensive.
 
* In some cases I may be able to update valuations if I have previously valued items, however - being a member of the National Association of Jewellers - I would still have to examine the items in order to make sure they are still safe and in good condition.

Accepted Answer

All recent items with one year guarantees (particularly watches), will be honoured.
 
All palnic rhodium plating with existing guarantee will also be honoured.

I didn't collect my item/s from you Bushey shop, where are they now?"

Accepted Answer

Items that were not collected before the shop at 84 High Road closed, will be available for collection from the new office workshop at Bushey Police Sports Club.

How will I know about any news or updates?

Accepted Answer

I will continue to keep customers up to date with information both on social media and by direct messages.
 
Some of you will have already received messages on your mobiles.

I would like to sell my gold, can you help?"

Accepted Answer

Yes.
 
If you have gold to sell, then I can give you an immediate decision either at your home, at my workshop in Hatton Garden or at my new office workshop:
